As we continue to enhance our school community and ensure that every student thrives, we recognize the importance of strong partnerships between our families and school staff. Parental input is invaluable to the success of our students, and we are excited to invite you to join us in shaping a positive and engaging learning environment.
We are currently seeking dedicated parent volunteers to serve on our Family Engagement Committee her at Tarboro High School. This committee will work closely with school leadership to explore new ways to enhance communication, organize family-centered events, and ensure that all families have a voice in the decisions that impact their children’s education.
As a member of the Family Engagement Committee, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide Input: Share your thoughts and ideas on how we can better engage and support families in our school community.
Collaborate: Work with teachers, staff, and fellow parents to develop initiatives that strengthen the bond between home and school.
Influence Change: Play a direct role in shaping programs and policies that support the academic and social success of our students.
The committee will meet monthly, and your involvement would make a tremendous impact. Whether you have a few hours a month or can offer more time, we would be grateful for your participation and perspective.

Due to inclement weather, we will postpone the Tarboro vs. SouthWest Edgecombe Varsity football game to 8 p.m. If the rain persists, we will move the game to Saturday, September 14th @ 12 p.m.
ATTENTION ALL 12th GRADERS! Don't wait to vaccinate! The meningococcal booster is required for all 12th graders.
